Hickory Christian Academy's Junior Varsity boys' basketball team played a non-conference game on January 17 at Hickory Christian Academy versus Alexander Central. After a slow start in the first quarter, the team came back strong and finished with a 47 to 42 win over the Cougars. Helping the Knights to this victory was their 77 percent free throw shooting, including a clutch 7 of 8 from the foul line in the fourth quarter.
