CONCORDIA CHRISTIAN DAY SCHOOL: 35
After losing 2 tough games against Salisbury and North Hills, the HCA MS BLUE Boys WON their season finale at Home vs. Concordia 43-35!! MS BLUE finished with a regular season record of 4-8.
It was 19-11 at the half with Concordia holding to an 8 point lead. The second half saw a 32 point eruption by the HCA Knights! Better ball control, better rebounding and smarter shots highlighted the comeback. The Knights were also 7-12 from the free throw line. MS Blue is shooting 50% on the year from the charity stripe and 53% since Christmas break!
One of the things that we as coaches consider noteworthy is our balanced scoring. While many teams have only 1 or 2 kids who do all the scoring, HCA MS Blue has averaged 5-6 players scoring every game.
Christian Henry led scorers with 14 points; Alec Hull had 10 pts.; Levi Robinson scored 8 points; Austin Sparks hit 2 really nice 3 pointers and added a foul shot for his 7 points; Kamden Whitfield & Cade Walls each had a bucket for 2pts each.
Other regular season fun facts:
