RIDGECROFT SCHOOL: 2
The 9 seeded HCA Knights travels to Ahoskie, NC to take on the 8 seeded Ridgecroft Rams in the 2nd round of the NCISAA playoffs. It was a pitching duel that was scoreless until the 7th inning. In the top of the 7th inning Senior Brett Bumgardner drove in Nick White to take a 1 - 0 lead. In the bottom of the 7th, Ridgecroft was able to plate 2 runs to win the game. Thank you Seniors, Nick White, Andy Cook, Graham Huffman, and Brett Bumgardner as well as the rest of the Knights for a great season that resulted in HCA's first ever playoff win.
