CHALLENGER EARLY COLLEGE HIGH SCHOOL: 25
HCA took on Challenger Early College High School at CVCC in a non-conference match-up. The Knights played their best game of the season thus far. They shot 48 percent from the field and added 35 rebounds, 26 of which were offensive rebounds. It was a very well-rounded game with everyone contributing with field goals, but it was the team's overall defensive effort that was stellar and led the Knights to the 78 - 25 win. Senior guard/forward, Tommy McGrath, junior forward, Jack McMahon, and sophomore guard/forward, Hunter Sjobom led the defensive efforts with five steals each. Junior guard, Aiden Smith, also added four steals. Points leaders for the game were senior guard, Eli Sigmon, 16; junior forward, Andy Cook, 15; junior forward, Jack McMahon, 14; and senior forward, Tim Tysinger, with 11 points. Andy Cook also added 12 rebounds, 11 offensive, in the game. The Knights improve to 2-1 on the season.
