Hickory Christian Academy’s boys’ varsity basketball team played United Faith Christian Academy in a conference game Tuesday. HCA’s defense was spectacular against United Faith. The Knights held the Falcons to 56 points, but struggled from the field themselves, scoring 35. Defensively, the Knights had 10 deflections, 8 steals, and 5 blocks. Leading the way on the defensive end was senior guard/forward, Tommy McGrath with five deflections, two steals, and one monster block. Senior guard, Eli Sigmon, led the Knights scoring with 13 points.
