VICTORY CHRISTIAN CENTER SCHOOL: 68
Hickory Christian Academy's men's varsity basketball team traveled to Charlotte on February 15th to play Victory Christian in the second round of the NCISAA 1A state playoffs. The Knights of Hickory Christian fought hard and stayed close with the Kings of Victory Christian for three and a half quarters. The Knights ultimately lost 46-68, but had started putting the Kings on the free throw line halfway through the 4th quarter. HCA was led in scoring by sophomore guard/forward, Hunter Sjobom, with 13 points. Sjobom added three rebounds, two assists, and one steal. Senior guard, Eli Sigmon, and junior forward, Jack McMahon, both scored 10 points each. Sigmon added six rebounds, an assist, one deflection, and one block. McMahon also had three rebounds and two assists.
